them into an organization. Gather requirements, then source, evaluate and
integrate components into a single system, and finally validate the system. It
also covers the fundamentals of project management and the interplay between IT
applications and organizational processes.

This course is an IT senior-project that requires students to demonstrate all technical and non-technical skills expected of an IT professional. Emphasis is on developing startup projects. Topics/activities include project proposal, feasibility studies, intellectual property, teamwork, budget, schedule, management, professional communication, research, planning, design, development, testing and implementation.

This course provides knowledge on cloud
deployment and service models, cloud infrastructure, and the key considerations
in migrating to cloud computing. It covers
technologies required to build classic (traditional), virtualized, and cloud
data center environments. It also includes compute, storage, networking,
desktop and application virtualization. Additional areas of focus include
backup/recovery, business continuity, security, and management.

Introduces students to system administration and maintenance as well as platform technologies. Includes operating systems, applications, administrative activities and domains, computer architecture and organization, and computing infrastructures.

This course provides an overview of computers and its impact on the workplace and society. Emphasis is on computer system operations, computer applications and office productivity tools. Topics include Von Neumann architecture; basics of operating systems, computer networks, desktop, web and mobile technologies; and word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software.
